It’ll feel a lot like spring on Thursday in Wichita: sunshine, hearty winds and highs climbing within view of the 70s.
Winds will be out of the west-southwest, helping push temperatures into the upper 60s, forecasters say. They’ll be steady in the teens and gust to nearly 25 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will fall only to the mid-40s under partly cloudy skies, with south winds remaining steady in the teens and topping 20 miles an hour in gusts.
Friday should offer more sunshine than clouds, forecasters say, with highs reaching the mid-60s. Winds will shift to the north during the day, again staying in the teens with gusts just a bit stronger.
