Butler Community College says it raised $193,000 with auction

Butler Community College raised $193,000 last week for the college with the Butler Benefit Auction, the college said in a prepared statement on Tuesday.

The money was raised from live and silent auctions, sponsorships and other giving, the college statement said.

The money will be used to support the Butler Foundation, which uses it for scholarships, programs, and capital support for the college, the statement said.
