Two men robbed a pizza delivery driver late Saturday night – for his pizza.

The robbery happened in the 4800 block of South Laura, near Hydraulic and 47th Street South, at 11:35 p.m. Saturday night, police said.

The Papa John’s driver told police he went to the area to deliver a pizza when two men threatened him with a knife and took the pizza, according to Sgt. John Hoofer, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

Police officers called to the area discovered the pizza robbers with enough evidence left to charge them on suspicion of robbery, Hoofer said.

The men, ages 24 and 26, were then booked into jail.
