Uninsured adults won’t get flu shots from Sedgwick County Health Department

The Sedgwick County Health Department no longer is providing flu vaccinations for adults who don’t have insurance.

The Sedgwick County Health Department no longer is providing flu vaccinations for adults who don’t have insurance.

The department still has flu vaccine available for uninsured and underinsured children, including those with Medicaid coverage, a news release from the county said. Charges for shots for uninsured children will be on a sliding fee scale based on income.

Remaining flu vaccinations are available at the department’s clinic at 2716 W. Central.
