Tuesday will start out bitterly cold, with wind chills in negative numbers, before the day begins to warm up significantly.
Highs should reach the upper 30s, forecasters say – a 20-degree jump over Monday. South winds will occasionally touch double digits under sunny skies.
Overnight lows will settle in the mid-20s, with those south winds easing just a bit and then shifting to the north. Those northerly winds will bring with them a chance of light snow and rain on Wednesday, though forecasters say no accumulation is expected.
Wednesday’s high will once again be in the upper 30s.
