A man beat up another man so severely that he broke bones in the victim’s face, Wichita police said Friday.
After a witness called 911, police arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated battery, said Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte
The attack took place at about 2:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Hydraulic, Nolte said. The victim, 33, suffered fractures to bones in his face and needed staples to close wounds in his head. At Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, he was given a CT scan to search for other head injuries, Nolte said.
Investigators don’t know if an argument or other cause might have preceded the attack, Nolte said.
