A man was shot and wounded during an attempted robbery in Wichita on Wednesday, police said.
The attack took place about 10:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Millwood, said Lt. Doug Nolte.
One victim, 20, told police that four people confronted him with a gun. The victim said that one person shot him in one leg, Nolte said.
A second victim, 17, said one of the other people in the group put a gun to his head, and took his cellphone, Nolte said.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital in a private car.
Police have not located any of the four suspects and don’t have good descriptions for any of them, Nolte said.
