A 24-year-old man was found bleeding as he leaned against his truck in a parking lot of an abandoned service station in the 4000 block of South Seneca late Friday.
When police arrived, he told them two people had assaulted him. A man had busted out a window on his truck with a club, he told police. While he was trying to defend himself from the man, a woman stabbed him in the back with a knife.
The victim was taken in critical condition to a local hospital with a punctured lung, said Sgt. Jeff Davis.
The suspects, a 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, are known to police, but not yet in custody, Davis said.
