More than 1,000 property taxpayers in Sedgwick County received erroneous receipts for their payments in the mail last week.
The county’s Division of Information and Operations said Tuesday that 1,400 of the approximately 56,000 property tax receipts it mailed last week were sent to the wrong address because of a printing error.
Those receipts are being reprinted and will be mailed over the next few days, the county said.
Taxpayers who have any questions may contact the county’s call center at 316-660-9110.
