If you want to watch Tuesday night’s 7 p.m. Shockers game vs. Loyola at your house, you need to either subscribe to Cox cable or be Web savvy enough to figure out a way around the Cox-imposed blackout of the game on ESPN3.com to Kansas subscribers.
If you can’t do any of the above – and you don’t have a ticket to the 7 p.m. home game – you must either depend on the generosity of Cox-subscribing friends or on the table availability at Cox-subscribing bars and restaurants.
As we learned last week, some bars and restaurants in Wichita don’t subscribe to Cox, which exclusively carries many of the Shockers games, including Tuesday’s.
Others are dedicated to showing all of the Shockers games, regardless of where they air.
Following is an updated list of bars and restaurants that have Cox and are showing Tuesday night’s game. It should be a little easier to find a seat than it was on Saturday because the Shockers are at home, meaning 10,000-plus people will be at Koch Arena and not crowding up sports bars and restaurants.
If you know of another bar that should be added to the list, call 316-268-6327 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
