Three arrested after fight near Old Town’s Playa Azul

Three men were arrested early Sunday morning after two men reported they had been robbed.
The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday near Old Town’s Playa Azul in the 100 block of North Washington, according to Sgt. John Hoofer, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
During an altercation, one of the two men was knocked unconscious and his cellphone taken, Hoofer said. The three suspects then ran from the area.
Police officers later caught the three men and after interviewing the them, all three – ages 23, 27 and 21 –were taken into custody.
