Wichita weather: Sunny and a bit warmer

Wednesday figures to offer more pleasant weather than the day before in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs could touch 50 under sunny skies, with north-northwest winds occasionally climbing into double digits. A few clouds will move in overnight, forecasters say, with lows falling to the low 30s.
It’ll be windier with the sunshine on Thursday, forecasters say, with highs climbing near the mid-50s and northwest winds in the teens climbing into the 20s by afternoon. Gusts could top 40 miles an hour.
Thursday night will be colder than the night before, with lows in the low 20s. Winds will still be in the upper teens, gusting to nearly 30 miles an hour at times.
Friday will be cold, forecasters say, with highs only in the upper 30s.
