Wichita weather: Windy and cooler

It’ll be windy and cooler than it has been in Wichita over the past few days on Tuesday, forecasters say.
Highs will still reach the mid-40s, however, with north-northwest winds increasing in strength as the day stretches out. Gusts could approach 40 miles an hour. Skies should be mostly sunny, forecasters say.
Overnight lows are likely to settle in the low 20s under mostly clear skies, with northwest winds easing from the teens to single digits – but gusts will still near 30 miles an hour at times.
Wednesday should be sunny and a bit warmer, forecasters say, with highs touching 50 and northwest winds only topping out in the mid-teens.
