Cargill Meat Solutions Corp. is giving $120,000 to help Wichita State University establish the Koch Global Trading Center, the WSU Foundation said in a prepared statement today.
WSU has said the center will teach students about financial and commodity markets. Trading worldwide is much of what Cargill does, company officials said in the WSU statement.
The trading center will open this summer in Clinton Hall, WSU, where the W. Frank Barton School of Business is located, WSU has said.
The contribution will help the WSU Foundation reach the goal of raising $1 million for the center, WSU officials said in the statement.
