After seeing a temperature record fall on Sunday, Wichita will see the warm weather linger for a while longer.
Highs today should reach the mid-50s under sunny skies, forecasters say. Winds out of the northwest will be in the teens and then shift to the southwest. Gusts could top 25 miles an hour at times.
Lows will slide to the mid-30s overnight, forecasters say, with a few clouds moving in. Winds will ease to the low double digits.
Tuesday is expected to offer temperatures in the mid-40s, with lots of sunshine and lots of wind. North-northwest winds could gust to more than 40 miles an hour, with steady gusts in the 20s and 30s.
