Two people died Saturday when they were thrown from an SUV that crashed about two miles west of Garden City.
Terry G. Fraker, 46, and Vonda Sue Fraker, 48, were in the Jeep Wrangler traveling east on Roadkey Road when the driver “overcorrected exiting the roadway to the left,” according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report. The Jeep spun, rolled on its passenger side, then flipped 1 1/2 times before stopping.
The Frakers, of Garden City, were ejected from the vehicle into a field, the highway patrol said. Both died from their injuries.
The highway patrol listed Terry Fraker as the Jeep’s driver and Vonda Sue Fraker as its passenger.
