$1 million raffle ticket sold in south-central Kansas

The $1 million ticket for the annual Holiday Millionaire Raffle was sold in south-central Kansas, the state’s lottery officials said Tuesday.
The winning ticket number is 120298, according to the Kansas Lottery office in Topeka.
The 15 counties that the agency considers to be in south-central Kansas are: Sedgwick, Barber, Barton, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, McPherson, Marion, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Stafford and Sumner.
All of the 175,000 tickets alloted for this year’s raffle were sold by shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, lottery spokeswoman Sally Lunsford said. The tickets went on sale Oct. 1.
In additon to the $1 million top prize, there were 25 winners of $5,000, 25 winners of $1,000 and 2,500 winners of $100. For a list of all the winning numbers, go to the lottery’s website at kslottery.com.
To claim a prize of $1,000 or more, a person can go to the lottery office in Topeka or mail in their signed ticket with a lottery claim form to the office. The claim forms can be downloaded from the agency’s website. The office will be closed Wednesday, New Year’s Day.
Players with $100 winning tickets can claim them at any Kansas Lottery retail location.
