Lights on the Lake, the annual drive-through light display at Heartspring, 8700 E. 29th St. N., has closed early for the season because of problems with the display.

After Saturday’s ice and snow storm, several of the displays stopped working and it appeared that moisture had frozen inside electrical outlets, said Dusty Buell, Heartspring’s director of marketing. Temperatures remained below freezing, preventing the organization’s maintenance department from being able to figure out the problem.

Heartspring closed the display for the season on Saturday. It was to have remained up through Christmas.
