A 24-year-old man was stabbed during an argument at a downtown Wichita hotel Thursday night, police said.
The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. at the Royal Lodge motel at 320 E. Kellogg, Lt. Doug Nolte said. People staying at the hotel reported hearing an argument outside a room prior to the stabbing, he said.
The victim was stabbed once in the abdomen. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis and admitted.
It’s not clear what the argument was about, Nolte said.
