A 34-year-old man who walked out of a Wichita pawn shop was robbed by a woman holding a knife Tuesday afternoon, police said Wednesday.

Police Lt. Doug Nolte gave this account: The man was coming out of the A-OK store in the 400 block of North West Street around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when a woman with a knife demanded his cash and wallet. She left with a couple hundred dollars.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic woman in her 20s, wearing a jacket and white tank top and jeans. She had a tattoo on her neck. She got into a red extended-cab pickup driven by a Hispanic man in his 30s.
