There’s a week left for children to send their Christmas letters to Santa Claus through a holiday project co-sponsored by the city.
The Letters to Santa Project, sponsored by the city of Wichita, Cambridge Market and Starkey, ends at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Mailboxes are located at the Century II concert hall entrance, CityArts, Old Cowtown Museum, the Mid-America All-Indian Center, Cambridge Market and Starkey.
Children who include a return address on their letters will receive a response from Santa, and all who write will be entered into a gift giveaway. The grand prize winner will read their letter live on KAKE News with Jemelle Holopirek.
Other prizes include a free youth art class at CityArts, family memberships to Cowtown and the Indian Center, a gift certificate for an upcoming Century II production and $50 in Cambridge Market Bucks.
