Thirty people were cited for not wearing seat belts this weekend during a special effort targeting violators, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
The patrol was conducted over a four-hour period Friday night. Besides the seat-belt citations, 13 tickets were written for other traffic violations, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Three more people were arrested for driving on a suspended license, four were arrested on outstanding warrants and one was arrested on drug charges, the office said.
