Police: Death previously labeled suspicious ruled a home accident

A death police were initially treating as suspicious late Monday afternoon turned out to be a home accident, authorities said.

Joshua Briley, 31, was found dead shortly after 5:15 p.m. at his residence at 1610 N. St. Francis, police records show. An investigation revealed Briley cut his arm on broken glass in a window and bled to death.

Foul play is not suspected, Lt. Todd Ojile said.
