The ex-boyfriend and the current boyfriend of a woman were both booked on aggravated battery charges early Sunday morning after a fight broke out involving the woman.
Police were called to the 2100 block of South Seneca, near Pawnee, shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday after a 34-year-old woman reported the two men – her ex-boyfriend, age 36, and her current boyfriend, age 29, were fighting, according to Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The fight left the 29-year-old man with a broken left orbital socket and jaw, Brunscheen said. The younger man had a knife and cut the ex-boyfriend, police said.
The older man refused medical treatment. The 29-year-old was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis where he was treated and later released.
Both men were booked on aggravated battery charges.
