Ancestor Fair designed to help Kansans research family history

Curious about your ancestors?

The Kansas Historical Society is hosting its fourth annual Kansas Ancestor Fair from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Kansas Historical Society in Topeka, 6425 SW 6th Ave.

The event will include exhibits on heritage, historical and lineage groups. Guest speakers include Lisa Arnold from, who will speak on how to begin researching your family’s genealogy; Beth Foulk, whose presentation will be about how to research colonial and Kansas land records; and Jan Wilkes, Topeka Family History Center, who will talk about the FamilySearch website.
