A routine traffic stop near downtown Wichita shifted gears Thursday when the police officer found meth and marijuana brownies in the car.
Oh, and two young boys, too.
The 25-year-old woman driving the car was arrested and the boys, ages 3 and 8, were placed in protective custody, Wichita police Lt. Steve Kenney said.
The car was pulled over at Kellogg and I-135 Thursday afternoon. Along with the meth and marijuana brownies, the officer found a gun, marijuana and numerous boxes of Coach brand women’s purses, Kenney said.
