A thrift store in the Delano neighborhood was evacuated for a while Thursday night after someone claimed there was a bomb in the store, authorities said.
The threat was reported at about 6:10 p.m. at the Disabled American Veterans store at 1202 W. Douglas, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. That’s just west of Seneca.
Officers “didn’t find anything,” the supervisor said.
The store resumed normal business activity shortly before 7:30 p.m., a police supervisor told media on the scene.
