Man arrested after entering home, going through laundry

A 31-year-old man was arrested overnight Saturday after a homeowner found him in his house in the 300 block of North Millwood, near Seneca, police Sgt. Bruce Watts said.

The man had entered through the unlocked front door about 1:20 a.m. Saturday and also left that way after he was discovered, Watts said. The man had gone through a laundry basket that had undergarments in it, the sergeant said.

The homeowner was able to give police a good description of the intruder, and he was found outside a few houses down the block. He was booked on aggravated burglary and other charges, Watts said.
