The Dullea Classic philanthropy, through Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Wichita State University, will host a silent auction Friday and a golf tournament Monday in the effort to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The silent auction, at 7 p.m. Friday at Tallgrass Country Club, will include a raffle, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a live band. The four-person team scramble tournament will be the following Monday at Tallgrass. Tournament teams are being accepted through Wednesday and are $600 per team. Anyone interested in participating in the auction is asked to RSVP by email to dulleaclassic@gmail.com by Wednesday. For more information about the events, email to the same address.

This is the 23rd year that the philanthropy has raised money for the ALS effort. In the last five years, Phi Delta Theta has raised more than $150,000 through the Dullea Classic.
