Sedgwick County to hold seat belt saturation patrol Friday evening

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will target those violating seat belt laws during a saturation patrol Friday evening.

The additional enforcement runs from 6 to 10 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The goal is to reduce the number of unrestrained drivers on the county’s roads.

The patrol is funded by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportment, according to the news release.
