Wichita police arrested a man not because he wasn’t wearing pants but because of suspicion he possessed narcotics.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to 21st and Rosenthal, where they found a man, passed out, in the back of a truck.
He had no pants on, according to Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
As officers were trying to identify the man, he awoke long enough to tell police his identification was in his wallet – in his missing pants.
When police located his pants, Brunscheen said, they also found two baggies of what appeared to be cocaine.
