Saturday is the last day to buy grandstand tickets for the Kansas State Fair that also include gate admission in the price.

Tickets to the grandstand shows, which this year include Toby Keith, Kansas and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others, will come with free gate admission if purchased in person or over the phone from 8 to 5 p.m. Saturday or online by midnight Saturday.

Grandstand tickets purchased after that will require their users to buy separate gate admission, which if purchased by Sept. 5 is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for ages 6-12. Starting on Sept. 6, admission is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are admitted free.

Discounted carnival ride tickets also are available through Sept. 5 and will cost $15 for a sheet of 22 tickets rather than $25.

Tickets can be purchased online at, by phone at 800-362-3247 or 620-669-3618, or in person or by mail through the Kansas State Fair Ticket Office at 2000 N. Poplar St., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
