Classic cars and motorcycles began rolling into downtown Wichita on Friday morning for the fourth annual BlackTop Nationals car show.
The cars will be on display in and around Century II, 225 W. Douglas. Admission is $5 to see the car displays inside Century II, but there is no charge to check out the hundreds of cars outside.
Visitors also can drive their own cars on an autocross course set up at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, 300 S. Sycamore. The three-day show also will feature food, music and other attractions.
Friday’s opening ceremonies will include a flyover of World War II-era aircraft at 3 p.m. over downtown.
The show is expected to draw more than 100,000 people from 20 states.
