Inman motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in accident with deer

A motorcyclist died Wednesday in a Wichita hospital from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle apparently hit a deer in Harvey County.
Michael Rogers, 56, Inman, died shortly before 1:30 a.m., the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s deputies responded the accident at shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 10000 block of N. Hesston Road. Rogers was found lying on the side of the road after apparently striking the deer, the sheriff’s office said.
Rogers, who was on his way to work at AGCO in Hesston at the time of the accident, was taken in critical condition to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis. He was on his way to work at AGCO in Hesston at the time of the accident, the sheriff’s office said.
