City officials have launched a new website designed to inform residents about water conservation and the rebate program the city put in place on Monday.

The site, www.savewichitawater.com, provides rebate applications, as well as a weekly video providing updates on how much of the $1 million allotted for the rebates has been spent.

Officials said Wichitans still need to mind their water usage, even with recent rains. Cheney Reservoir is currently at 72 percent of its capacity, though officials said normal levels are around 92 percent to 95 percent.
