Wichita State to close for Fourth; classes resume Friday

Wichita State University offices will be closed and there are no classes on Thursday for the Fourth of July, the university said in a statement.

Classes will resume on Friday. The second four-week session of summer classes will begin Monday, and run through Friday, Aug. 2, the university said.

The Heskett Center fitness and recreation building will be closed Thursday, and the Ulrich Museum of Art galleries and offices also will be closed. Ulrich’s galleries will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, the university said.
