Wichita police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Saturday.
The victim, 25, woke up a 33-year-old friend about 3 a.m. and told him he’d been stabbed, said Sgt. Scott Brunow. The friend was sleeping at a home in the 2000 block of North Woodland.
The victim was transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in serious condition with a stab wound to the abdomen and a cut on his head, Brunow said.
“We have a 26-year-old known male suspect we are looking for in that cutting,” Brunow said.
