A woman was arrested Sunday night after she rammed her boyfriend’s vehicle while her two young children were passengers, police said.
The 31-year-old woman became upset when she found out her boyfriend was going to another woman’s house, Lt. Doug Nolte said. She loaded her two daughters into her SUV at about 8:30 p.m. and took off after her boyfriend.
She caught up to him a short distance later and began yelling at her boyfriend, Nolte said. She then hit her boyfriend’s SUV with her vehicle more than once.
Neither child was properly restrained while the altercation was unfolding, Nolte said.
“The 11-month-old was being held in the lap of the 13-year-old,” he said.
When the boyfriend reached his friend’s house in the 2300 block of South Alameda, northwest of Pawnee and Hillside, the woman got out of her SUV and began pushing and hitting him, Nolte said. Police were called and she was booked into jail on multiple suspected offenses.
