83 cited for safety belt violations Tuesday night in Sedgwick County

A special traffic enforcement resulted in 83 adults being cited for seat belt violations, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The effort, which took place between 6 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, also resulted in a citation for an improper child restraint, a DUI arrest, three people being arrested on warrants and 27 citations for other traffic violations, the office said in an e-mail news release.
