Sedgwick County officials are seeking the public’s input on flooding, erosion and water quality issues stemming from the Spring Creek Watershed.

An online survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/s/springcreekwatershedstudy through May 23. Stakeholders will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Derby Public Library, 1600 Walnut Gove Road.

The county’s stormwater management advisory board is seeking the input. The Spring Creek Basin encompasses 32 square miles between Derby and Wichita, generally draining to the Spring Creek above the Arkansas River at Derby.

Results of the study will provide a basis for the county and the cities of Derby and Wichita to make decisions about infrastructure and development, county officials said.
