Police are looking for a man suspected of shooting at someone he argued with in south Wichita on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect and victim got into an argument shortly after 2 p.m. in the 4600 block of East Harry, Lt. Joe Schroeder said. That’s just west of Harry and Oliver.
The 26-year-old suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at the 37-year-old victim, who responded by leaving the house. When he realized he left his Vision card at the house, however, he returned to retrieve it.
Before he reached the house, the victim told police, the suspect leaned out a window and fired three shots at him. One of the shots grazed the victim’s right forearm. He walked to Via Christi Hospital on East Harry, where he was treated and released, Schroeder said.
The suspect had left the residence by the time police arrived at the scene, Schroeder said.
