A 15-year-old boy who was taken to Wesley Medical Center on Saturday night with two gunshot wounds may face charges on suspicion of an aggravated residential robbery.

A spokesman for the Wichita Police Department said the boy was with two other men who robbed a house Saturday night in the 1200 block of N. Hydraulic.

The three men entered the home with guns at 8:55 p.m., but a 28-year-old man who lived at the residence came out of bedroom armed with a handgun and fired on the robbers multiple times, Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said.

Wichita police investigating the scene said drugs may have been a possible motive.

A 24-year-old woman who also lived at the residence was uninjured

The 28-year-old man who lived in the home was arrested after the shooting, on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, Brunscheen said.

Police are searching for two other suspects who drove away in a green Chevy Impala.
