Man hospitalized after being run over by forklift at North High

A forklift driver on a construction project at Wichita North High accidentally ran over another worker at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, sending the victim to the hospital with possible broken legs.

A forklift driver on a construction project at Wichita North High accidentally ran over another worker at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, sending the victim to the hospital with possible broken legs.

The 22-year-old driver didn’t see the 44-year-old co-worker walk in front of the forklift, Wichita police Sgt. Scott Brunow said.

The victim was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis for treatment.
