A woman and her boyfriend were assaulted Friday afternoon by a man who refused to move his car from the woman’s parking spot near a residence in the 1100 block of North Waco, police said.
The man began arguing when the victims, a 21-year-old woman and her 25-year-old boyfriend, asked him to leave about 5:15 p.m. He got out of his car and punched and slapped the woman, said Sgt. Scott Brunow. When her boyfriend tried to help her, the man punched him in the mouth.
The suspect then went to his car, pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and threatened to kill them, Brunow said.
The man finally left in his car and wasn’t found in the area.
The suspect was described as a black man in his 50s, 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, with short black hair. He was wearing a green, black and red Polo shirt and black pants.
His vehicle is a white 1994 Chevy Beretta, with Kansas license plate 797 EZS, Brunow said.
