Man reports being robbed near Douglas, Hydraulic

A 23-year-old Wichita man told police that someone threatened to kill him early Thursday evening near Douglas and Hydraulic.

The man said he was walking about 6:40 p.m. Thursday when a man came up behind him and put something to the back of his head and said he would be killed unless he turned over his wallet. The man complied.

The suspect ran off eastbound on Douglas, and the victim walked to a QuikTrip at Lincoln and Hydraulic to report what happened.

He told police the suspect was a black man in his 30s, about 6-foot-1 to 6-2 and about 180 to 200 pounds who was wearing blue jeans and a gray coat with a hood.
