Wichita police are asking help from the public regarding an east Wichita break-in early Sunday.
A mail room at the Eaglerock Village Apartment Complex, 7627 E. 37th St. North, was found broken into shortly after 2:50 Sunday morning, according to Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
A woman told police she saw two men running from the mail room of the apartment complex.
“When officers got there, they found the mail room and several mail boxes belonging to the apartment complex had been broken into,” Brunow said. “We did not apprehend or catch anybody on scene.”
Two men were seen leaving the scene in an older red vehicle, Brunow said.
If people have any information about the break-in, call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
