Wrong-way driving results in head-on crash on Kellogg

A man driving the wrong way on Kellogg crashed head-on into another car heading west near Oliver early Saturday, injuring both drivers, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.

A man driving the wrong way on Kellogg crashed head-on into another car heading west near Oliver early Saturday, injuring both drivers, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.

Dennis Haynes Jr., 40, of Wichita was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Kellogg just after 1 a.m. just west of Oliver when his SUV hit a van driven by Christopher Asbell, 37, of Park City, a Highway Patrol report said.

Both were in fair condition at Wesley Medical Center, a hospital operator said Saturday afternoon.
