A suspect used a handgun to rob a Dillons store Sunday afternoon, Wichita police say.
Lt. Steve Kenney gave this account: A little before 1 p.m. Sunday, a robber with a black handgun took cash and property from the store in the 3000 block of East Douglas. A 33-year-old female clerk who was robbed told police she feared for her life.
The robber was described as a black man, about 60, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds and wearing blue jeans, a gray jacket with diamond shapes and an “S” on the chest, a black stocking cap and gloves.
