A few snow flurries are possible in the Wichita area Monday morning, forecasters say.
Temperatures will top out in the mid-30s under mostly cloudy skies. Northwest winds will be steady in the upper teens to low 20s, with gusts touching 30 miles an hour.
With snow cover still widespread and skies gradually clearing, lows will dive into the teens overnight. Winds will ease somewhat, forecasters say, but gusts will still top 20 miles an hour.
Tuesday is expected to launch a gradual warming trend through the rest of the week, forecasters say. Highs will climb into the mid-40s under sunny skies, but light north winds will make the day more comfortable.
Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20s and skies should be mostly clear. Southerly winds will be light.
Wednesday is likely to offer more sunshine and highs in the mid-50s, forecasters say.
