16 shots fired into house in southeast Wichita

Police found 17 shell casings after a drive-by shooting that occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday in Wichita’s Planeview neighborhood.

Sixteen of the shots struck the house in the 2600 block of South Roosevelt, police said. Eight people ranging in age from 3 to 57 were inside the house but were not hurt.

Police said they have no motive or suspects in the shooting.
